The aim of the information system of spatial development (ISSD) of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County is to enable the public and professionals accessibility to the data from the spatial planning documentation. Primorje-Gorski Kotar County began with the introduction of a geographical information system (GIS) for the area of the County back in 1995. In 1998, the then county Institute produced its own system of gathering and storing data about the space via GIS technology. The project for the whole area of the County was finished in 2013.
