The spatial plan of a county is the fundamental planning document which elaborates the basic guidelines of the Strategy and determines the elements spatial development from the county’s interest.
The aim of a county plan is to enable:
- the direction of social development (the growth and structure of the population and the development of social activities),
- the direction of economic development (industry, transportation, tourism, agriculture, services etc.),
- the rational use of natural resources and the protection of the space.
The textual part contains clear measures for the implementation of the plan and the accompanying graphics are made to the scale of 1:100000. It is usually implemented indirectly via a spatial plan of the development of a municipality or town.
